Hello, my name is Kim and I am the hostess for our 12 Kits of Occasions this month. Can you believe it Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is just a few short weeks away. One of the things I love about the 12 Kits groups is having lots and lots of Christmas cards ready to go by the time Christmas arrives and they are so much fun to make too.

For my theme this month I decided to make Santa the star of the show! I love Christmas movies and actually love watching them year round. The Santa Clause is at the top of my list of favorite movies and I love the line from his sweet little elf Judy...Seeing isn't believing. Believing is seeing. I use this all the time at school and I am always surprised to see how many children can guess the movie.

The 12 Kits of Occasions - February '14 Kit

Hello!  Renee here and since I was the lucky hostess this month...I'm popping in to share a little about it!  I fell in LOVE (and I do mean deep and complete love) the moment I saw Crate Paper's Bundled Up last summer and knew I would be using it in this month's kit...which the theme for this month is "Snowblind"...anything snow related...so it was perfect!  

And though I swear we did not coordinate ideas...when I started working on my kit back during the early winter...I had already started an extra kit figuring I would offer it up for a prize but then Sharron was smart enough to offer up a kit early for last month and have the winner also be a guest designer...so I followed suit for this month and our wonderful guest is Judy from Judy'sCardCorner so make sure you drop by and show her some love!

You can get a listing of all the supplies in the kit from the above tab...but it may take me a bit to remember everything I put in there. *giggle*  We'll just say I had a lot of fun putting this kit together!

The 12 Kits of Occasions - December Kit

Hi everyone, its Jessica here....the excited hostess of this month's 12 Kits of Occasions! I had a blast putting together this kit for my favorite occasion of all...Christmas :) I included images from some of my favorite stamp companies including Paper Smooches (of course!), Lawn Fawn, and Mama Elephant. Wow..... I'd love to be a 12 Kits guest designer for January 2014! I follow the DT each month and am always amazed at the lovely projects!
Our V-day ritual usually includes cards, flowers (hopefully!) and maybe a bit of chocolate!

The 12 Kits of Occasions - November Kit

Welcome to the November edition of the 12 Kits of Occasions!  It's Kelly and I am so excited to be your hostess this month!

First, I want to welcome our special guest Karen Stein!  Karen and I live in neighboring towns here in upstate New York and our husbands work together at the local fish hatchery.  We share a love of stamping and whenever we get together, I talk her ear off about the newest papercrafting supplies on the market :)!

When I began searching for the papers for my Christmas kit, I didn't have to look long to see that the chalkboard theme was going to be popping up everywhere for the holidays.  I found this adorable collection from Echo Park called " 'Tis the Season" and used this sheet to set the rest of the elements for my kit:

Christmas trees, holly, ornaments, reindeer, stockings, snowflakes, and even a tiny Scottie dog!  You will see some old and new favorites stamps and dies from Waltzingmouse Stamps, A Muse Studio, Pink Persimmon, Hero Arts, Whipper Snapper Designs, Memory Box, L'il Inkers, and Papertrey Ink.  The full list of supplies can be seen at the top of the blog under the "Monthly Kit Supplies" heading.
