Hi everyone and welcome to the October edition of the 12 Kits of Occasions! Jessica, here. I was pleased to hostess this month... fall and thank you, two of my absolute favorite things! I just love the colors of fall and as you all know I love cute images! It was so fun choosing which company's stamps to use and the beautiful color options out there. I also used this kit to help me get to know my Silhouette Cameo a bit better. The Pixscan mat and I became friends... after a few trial and error sessions, that is! (If you get this mat, although it does not tell you in the instructions, you must calibrate your camera... then it will work!). So the girls probably noticed that some of their "die cuts" were a bit out of the ordinary. By the end I had learned how to give the images a mat. I also cut out some cool words. Thank goodness my parents were in town visiting for Sonny's birthday or I may not have gotten these kits out. Thanks to my mom for helping package, sort, and even address and seal envelopes :) And can you believe my little man is now one?! My how the year has flown! Without further ado, however, let's see what my talented friends have created:

The 12 Kits Of Occasions - October Kit

Hello, Kara here.....

This month it is my pleasure to host the 12 Kits Of Occasions.

I put together a kit with the Thanksgiving table in mind.

 I have included treat bags that could be used to create favors.   Die cut place cards can be used to show where your guests should sit or to label meals on a buffet table.  Paper and embellishments included could be used to create napkin rings or dinner menus.  The kit could also be used to create a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner invitation or an autumn birthday card.  I can not wait to share with you what we have created this month.  Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to see every project and enter the GIVEAWAY!

Falling Leaves {October 2013 Sneak Peek}

 

Hi everyone!

I'm back again, this time to share a little sneak peek of this month's kit.

I'm sure you've guessed by now that this month we will be featuring projects created for

 Autumn and Thanksgiving.

Usually we all share our projects on the last day of the month however, the last day of this month falls on a holiday....Halloween!

Since many of us (and you) will be busy with trick-or-treating, we will post a day early.

Look for our projects on the 30th.

(and maybe a little giveaway....;)....wink)
