Would you like to receive one of our 12 Kits of Occasions kits in the mail next month? Here's your chance to join with our group and be a Guest Designer. We all love getting our "happy mail"! It's even more fun than getting something you have ordered because it is a total surprise. We don't even post a list of supplies until everyone has their kit in hand.
The theme is "I Think I Love You" and it can be anything love related. I tried to pick things that could be for anyone---from a note for one of the kids to a card for hubby or note to a special friend. Do you do something special for Valentine's Day? Leave a comment and let us know. The contest will run until December 29 at noon. The winner will be announced on December 30 when we post our December reveal.
Good luck! We would love to see what you would do with your very own kit!

This is such a neat idea!! How do the kits work (cost, sign-up, etc???)
ReplyDeleteI always get a heart-shaped pizza on Valentines day :)
How fun -- I would love to be a guest designer. I put love notes wrapped around chocolate bars for my kids in their lunch boxes. When they were younger they would always get a stuffed animal too.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh how awesome is this! Yes we do something soecial ever year! I usually come home from work and decorate our dining room table with a pretty red tablecloth and make a special breakfast hearts shaped menu :) it's my husbands and my daughters favorite. Every year I try to make new foods that can be made, baked or cooked in heart shapes. Then we go around the table and say what we love about each other.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea!! I love to make the M&M Candy tubes for kids.
ReplyDeletei just make special valentine cards for friends and family now - used to do a lot more when i had kids at home - like make heart shaped cookies that we would decorate.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea! I'd like to say that I do all sorts of fun, supermom things or traditions for Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, every year is different. Some years the kids get gifts, one year I made 14 cards for DH leading up to V-Day, a couple years I've made fun treats for my kids' classrooms, and some years I just say "I love you" because that's all that can get done that year.
ReplyDeleteWow..... I'd love to be a 12 Kits guest designer for January 2014! I follow the DT each month and am always amazed at the lovely projects!
ReplyDeleteOur V-day ritual usually includes cards, flowers (hopefully!) and maybe a bit of chocolate!
I look forward every month to see how each of the design team uses the kits. I usually just make some small cards for Valentine's day.
ReplyDeleteOh, me, please! That would be so fun to guest design for your kit club!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so awesome, nothing beats a surprise! I would love to create alongside this rock star team!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a generous opportunity! I do Valentine's Day up in a big way because I teach Grade 1! Hearts and love everywhere! Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI would love a chance to participate! We love V Day!
ReplyDeleteThis would be a lot of fun! Thanks for a chance. I used to make special valentine treats for all the kids in my class, but now that I'm retired I make them for grandchildren, friends, and family. I love to combine them with homemade candies.
ReplyDeleteFor Valentine's Day, I make special, grandchild specific cards, and mail them to all of the little ones. And now that some of the grand girls are in college, they get one also! It would be so much fun to be the GD at 12 Kits of Occasions! Thanks for offering this chance. : ) Bev
ReplyDeleteEek! How exciting is this?! We don't do anything super special, but now that I have a toddler I love involving him and letting him help make his valentines. One of my very favorite projects I made this year was his valentine cards that I put together using his watercolor art.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like so much fun I would love to be a guest designer. Have a great day and A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Would love to win a kit and guest design! Sounds like a ton of fun!
ReplyDeleteCool! For Valentine's Day, my girls and I always make their valentines day cards/treats to give to their friends in school. Its a great way for me to spend some quality time with each of them one on one. As for my hubby, we write each other a little note in our journal which is where we give each other messages and celebrate milestones instead of giving each other cards. Thanks for a chance to play along with you all!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Valentines Day! A day for LOVE and CHOCOLATE! Being a guest designer would be awesome! I love your kits, scrapbooking and card making is a true passion and my therapy too! Happy Holidays!

My second favorite card making occasion is Valentine's Day, so would love to have your next kit to play with! Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteThis would be so fun! Thanks for the chance! We usually go to dinner sometime close to the day, but my hubby always finds some way surprise me!
ReplyDeleteOh what a wonderful opportunity! And a fun one too! I love Valentine's Day! We usually start our day with heart shape pancakes with raspberry syrup and heart sprinkles! And valentines and homemade valentines at dinner!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great offer to be a guest designer!! Roses, candlelight, a great homecooked meal, what more could you ask for spending time with the ones you love. tfs Patricia B
ReplyDeleteHow fun is this!
ReplyDeleteWell, after all the excitement of Christmas, and putting away the decorations, it is rather a let down, until it's time to bring out the Valentine goodies. Sweet heart banners go up everywhere. Then come the hearts collected for years. Each holiday has it's place in our house, and it is truly never dull!

oh I'd love to play along :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for an opportunity to play along with the kit club - love checking out your blogs every month! I always make a special family dinner for Valentine's Day. Last year we had individual candy heart cheesecakes for dessert thanks to Pinterest.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome opportunity! I would love to have the chance to design with this fab team...wow. I usually make Valentines for immediate family and my best single friends to remind them how much I love 'em ;) I also give some cards to the men in my office to give their wives...they're so excited to not have to brave the stores for a card! Thanks for the chance to participate :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful opportunity! For Valentine's, beginning Feb. 1, I'll be making a Valentine's Day Countdown series of little cards for my niece(similar to an Advent calendar), along with cards for her, and my nephew's, day care pals. My sister-in-law has also made requests for cards/tags for her volunteer staff. Then there's wee somethings for some of my own colleagues...Looking forward to bringing out my heart dies/stamps and 'love' papers! Looking forward to seeing the wonderful inspiration that will be shared! Happy New Year!

ReplyDeletewould love to be a guest designer - have always admired the diversity of the card you all make with one kit.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome idea and thanks for the chance to win! I love Valentines day and thought I don't have anything special that I do, I lover to spend it with all my hunnies!
ReplyDeleteMy husband & I balance romance with celebrating Valentine the birthday of our son. This sometimes involves moving one of the celebrations to another day.
