Want To Win A Kit?

Hello, Hello!
Renee here and since I am hostessing for February and am busy getting kits packaged and ready to hit the Post Office the last week of the month...
and though we honestly did not collaborate on the idea Sharron and I both thought of offering a kit for giveaway...
she's just way quicker than I am and also thought of having the winner guest with us too...
so I'm borrowing that idea and offering up another chance to be a guestie here with all of us in February!
The little graphic above should give you a clue as to the theme...
Snowblind...
and if you would like to win your own kit and be our honored guest here on 12 Kits...
just leave a comment below telling us your favorite winter activity (if I could get away with it mine would be hibernating till spring because I don't like the cold so I guess instead my favorite activity would actually be complaining about the cold! *giggle*) before Saturday, January 25th at 11:59 CT and I'll announce the winner here on the 12 Kits blog Sunday January 26th!
Good luck and can't wait to see who's going to be joining us next month!

  1. since i'm way past the age for winter sports or any outside stuff, i'm all for sitting in my chair with a good book, blanket over my knees, classical music on the radio and a cup of tea!

  2. Oh, I'd love to win a kit! Let's see…favorite Winter activity…if it's snowing, I love to watch it. Otherwise, I'm collecting idea online, stamping/designing cards or reading a book! Thanks for the chance to win!!!

  3. I look forward to seeing what everyone does with these kits each month.

I think my favorite winter activity is sitting by the fire with a cup of hot chocolate!

  4. Renee...I love your favorite winter activity. Hee. I'm still chuckling. Okay, for mine....I have two...one probably more legitimate than the other. Sledding...I think it's a blast, but my second is decorating. I love the winter holidays and decorating my home during the winter months just makes everything cheerful even if the weather outside is not.

  5. I adore snowflakes so I'll jump in. I prefer to stay inside in the winter, but it's always so much fun to play in the first snow of the season with my kids. Still waiting for that one! We've had a lot of rain instead.

  6. my favourite activity would be cuddling up by the fire! Is that a legitimate activity? When I was younger, it was tobogganing!

  7. My favorite activity is sledding, but I'd prefer if someone else would pull me (in the sled) back up the hill. ;) Thanks for the chance to win!

  8. My favorite winter activity is curling up with a good book, and watching the snow swirl outside my window! Winter lasts for months here, and I would love to play with one of your fabulous kits while I wait for spring! Thanks for a chance.

  9. Just found you and am so excited I did. We re not having any sort of winter here in California (it's been 70 degrees!) but I usually love to curl up and snuggle under a blanket in front of roaring fire with a hot cup of cocoa.

  11. My favorite activity is packing up to head to warmer weather in the winter. This winter we are unable to go so we are putting up with one of the coldest winters on record. More time to craft. I love seeing what everyone does with the kits. They are so full of wonderful things.

  14. Sorry I forgot to tell you my favorite activity... like others I love the winter where I get to relax by my gas fireplace and read as long as I want... no weeds to pull or veggies to harvest!

  15. I love playing in the snow with my kids! The laughter that ensues after snowballs is the cure for any winter blues!

  18. I found you through Tracey...and this sounds like quite a treat! My favorite, besides a good family movie and a fire, would be sledding with my kids...they love the snow and when mom joins in the fun, they couldn't be happier! Thanks so much for the chance to win!

  19. Oh how fun that you're also doing a drawing for the Feb. kit! It's not really a winter activity, but I do love watching football from Fall into Winter. I used to love cross country skiing, but now it's been years since we've gone. Thanks for a chance to join you guys for a month!

  20. favorite winter activity? hmmmm does card making without guilt count? Yes when its cold outside and I can't get out its the nicest excuse to make some cards :-) Ok other favorite winter activities? cooking, baking and movie watching (yeah I'm not a fan of the cold or outdoor winter acitivities - and it is cold here right now - waiting on a snowstorm as we speak!)

  21. I came by way of Tracey, too...and I'm glad I did! I think my favorite outdoor winter activity is shoveling snow -- I know, sounds crazy, but I love the solitude and peace and quiet and the exercise, too! My favorite indoor winter activity is cleaning out and reorganizing after the holidays!

  22. Back in the day, I enjoyed downhill skiing. Knee injury keeps me off the slopes now. I love have a hot cuppa and watching old classic movies.

  23. Way back in the day I loved to ski (but only on fresh snow & with clear skies) - these days, I'd say my favorite winter activity is baking. I rarely turn on the oven in the summer here.

  24. Winter is my favourite time of the year! Love the cold, snow, ice, nature's long sleep until spring has sprung! I don't do summers! LOL, too hot for me and my beloved papercrafting!
Love the long evenings, so much more time to do some crafting, ha, ha. And I love how the wind howls around the house. (Sorry for my Dunglish)
    :-)
Bye, and thanks for this generous offer!! It would be great, but I'll just keep my fingers crossed, 'cause I never win anything. But I love the thought of maybe winning this time. :-)
Love all the cards Mary Beth always makes, I'm a huge fan of hers!!

  25. I am a high school teacher and my favorite activity is having a snow day and hanging out-sledding- making snowmen or just having a snowball fight with my awesome boys ages 7 and 5!!!

  26. My favorite winter activity? I've never been a sporty person, but in my dreams I'd love to be in the Swiss Alps near a big window with a roaring fire looking out at that gorgeous scenery, snuggled under a quilt, with a cup of hot chocolate and a good book. How's that for a daydream?

Seriously, I would love to play with one of your kits - I enjoy snowflakes and snowmen much more on paper than for real!!

  27. My favorite activities are indoor type. I love curling up by the fire with a good book, or baking cookies, and of course playing with paper!

  28. I'm with you 100% Renee anthink that hibernating is the best thing to do between New Year and the beginning of March. Otherwise wrapping up warm on a sunny day and going for a nice long walk is my idea of fun. I love what you all do with the kits and would love a chance to join Thanks for the chance.
    Hugs

  29. My favorite winter activity would be snowmobiling. I love to go riding on a night with the moon shining bright, a light snowfall and the temperature in the 30's. The other days I like to cuddle by the fire. I would love to win a kit, that would keep me nice and warm!

  30. I'm with Tracy, I'm not a fan of the cold. Where I live it doesn't usually get as cold as where you live but still I like a warm summer day. So what I like best about Winter is the fact that Summer is on its way soon!

  31. I love sitting with a hot cup of cocoa and watching the snow but then I have to shovel it lol I love snow, snowflakes and snowmen so I would love to win a kit.

  34. Oh, of course I would love to win a kit!!! One of my favorite winter activities is actually, believe it or not shoveling snow, followed by skiing or vice versa depending on my day......

  35. Wow! Seriously? A whole kit and a guest designer gig? This would be awesome! I know that my least favorite winter activity is anything outdoors (-39C with the windchill right now)! BUT, that makes for endless, guilt free craft room hours...which is definitely my #1 favorite activity (drinking coffee is a close second!)

    Thanks for your generosity!

  36. What an offer! I don't usually like kits, but I have been wowed by the ones I've seen from Marybeth! My favorite wintertime activity is card making! What else could be better? And, if we're lucky enough to see some snow, to watch it through the window while sitting in front of a cozy fire.

  37. What a generous idea! Thanks for the chance to win :) My favorite winter activity is card making...anything to keep from shoveling!

  41. How cool, thanks for the chance to win! I enjoy taking my daughter out to sled and just tromping around! :)

  42. My favorite winter activity is watching the birds dine at our feeders from the inside warmth of my house. The older I get, the less I like being out in the cold.

  43. My favorite winter activity is cross-stitching, reading, and hibernating in my craft room with lots of papercrafting supplies. These are also my favorite spring, summer, and fall activities too! ;o)

  44. Beautiful cards ladies. Since I hate cold, my favorite winter activity is leaving it behind and getting away to a nice sunny beach for a week or two.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I love the stamps and cards everyone is making! Fave winter activity is staying warm inside. Doing anything, but doing it inside!

  46. Hi there!! I popped over from Kim's blog ~~
My fave WINTER activity is HIBERNATING... and when my family protests & makes me do something else... I guess it would have to be: crafting, reading, anything indoors. I literally try to never leave my home during the winter unless I am picking the kids up @ the bus stop. Yep, I am ridiculous in winter... LOL!!
Thanks for the chance!! :) :)

  47. Had to chuckle at this post about hibernating till Spring. Having lived in Northern MN for many years before moving to Washington State, I keep telling my family I'm the smart one (the only one who left). Now I am such a wimp in the cold unless I'm out cross-country skiing in Eastern Washington when it's 40 above and sunny. We seldom get snow in Western WA but no enough to keep off the roads because people here don't know how to drive in it. What is prettier than beautiful white snowflakes falling outside when you can stay inside and be warm? You gals seem to have SO much fun with these kits and share so much inspiration. It's awesome that you are willing to give a kit to some lucky stamper. Kudos!
