A Whimsical Garden ~ March 2019

Welcome to the March edition of The 12 Kits of Occasions!

Hi friends, it's Lisa here today! I'm happy to be this month's hostess. My kit is called {A Whimsical Garden}. A topiary VW driven by a bunny, bunnies lounging in adirondack chairs under a topiary umbrella, a frog wearing a raincoat and wellies...yep whimsical!

My inspiration comes from the bunny who frequents our backyard. He squeezes himself under the fence and nibbles on the grass. Sometimes he sits in the sun and gives himself a bath. He's even been known to take a nap. Our mini schnauzer Max used to chase the little guy back under the fence. Bet he wishes he had the spiffy VW to escape in back then!!

Greetings from (not so) Sunny California, 12 Kits fans! Nancy here, and I'm your hostess this

month, bringing you a 'Party in the Park'.

The theme for February centers around a celebration of the hope of Spring; outdoors, birthdays,

lots of fresh clean air, friends and flowers in bloom.

12 friends with the same kit... ready? Let's open the windows inhale fresh air and celebrate!

Maybe it's a birthday or a church picnic. Maybe a stroll with friends along a park path or

imagining the warmth of the sun as blossoms begin to open... Ah, Spring!

Good Fortune - January 2019

Welcome to The 12 Kits of Occasions! I'm so excited to be kicking off the new year with an Asian themed kit filled with wishes of love, laughter and friendship! I tried to include a little something for everyone.. dancing lions, ninjas, pagodas, girls in kimono's and of course, some Chinese take out! Welcome Kara!

We are excited to share with you today that Kara Lynn Pogreba is joining the team at the 12 Kits of Occasions! Kara is completing our group of 12 and this month she is making her debut. You may know Kara from her blog, Bright Hope Creations where she shares her beautiful bright and bold creations. If you haven't before you should go and check our her blog. Her style is amazing and we are so lucky to have her joining us!

Periwinkle Party - December 2018

Welcome to The 12 Kits of Occasions...... the December 2018 edition! The DCWV 'Serene and Elegant' paper collection was the start of our latest kit, with it's beautiful shades of blue and coral, lovely gold accents, pretty patterns, PLUS some wonderful journaling cards that can be de-constructed and added to cards/tags or can stand on their own as the focus of any project. A few floral-y additions, a trio of adorable llamas, the cutest little squirrel and an abundance of elegant sentiments are the finishing touches!

P.S. - We will be saying 'au revoir' to two of our long standing, and much loved, teammates- Jessica Davis and Michele Ferguson, both of whom will be terribly missed. All of our very best wishes to these two lovely ladies!
However, this also means that we are welcoming our newest DT member, the oh-so-talented Marcia Hill, who will be joining us in creating with our December 2018 kit!
